COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

In 2008, we completed a community assessment to help us better understand our neighborhood and
the assets and needs that exist.

The top issues identified by the survey were:

1. Basic Needs (housing, food, etc.)

2. More activities for youth

3. Issues specific to the Latino community, including accessing and trusting financial institutions and immigration.

4. Economic Development – more jobs in the community

5. Crime/ Safety
 

We are in the process of developing tools to address these issues. If you represent an organization or
